The Admission Process for Delhi Government Schools for class 6th and 9th students has been started today i.e., April 08, 2024 in online mode by the Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi. Parents are informed that the document submission and verification process for admission to the allotted school will begin on April 30 and will be continued till May 10, 2024.

The Delhi Government has initiated the admission process for classes 6th to 9th in government schools starting today i.e., April 08, 2024 and will continue till April 17, 2024. This opportunity is specifically for new students seeking admission. Students currently enrolled in government or government-aided schools are advised to approach their respective schools for transfer or re-admission. It is very important for parents and guardians to ensure they complete the admission process within the specified timeline to secure a spot for their child in these government schools. The admission process for Delhi government schools under the non-plan category will be conducted in three cycles.

Delhi Govt School Admission 2024-25 Class 6 to 9

The Delhi Govt School Admission list 2024-25 for the first cycle will be displayed on April 29, 2024. Based on 1st merit list,students/parents must submit/verify their documents at the allotted schools between April 30, 2024 and May 10, 2024. The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi has also clarified that only parents/children who are residing in Delhi will be eligible to apply for admission to classes 6th to 9th at government schools under the non-plan scheme.

How to Apply Online for Delhi Govt School Admission 2024 Class 6,7,8,9

The online registration form has been designed in a simple format. It can be filled using a smartphone also. If any parent requires support in filling out the application form, they can approach the Help Desk at the nearest school. To fill in the application form parents are advised to visit the official website of DoE and follow the steps discussed below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi – www.edudel.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button.

Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and enable the checkbox of declaration, then click on ‘Proceed’.

Step 4: The Delhi Government Schoolsregistration window will open on the screen.

Step 5: Enter the name of the child, parent’s name, date of birth, e-mail ID, mobile number and other details in the appropriate fields.

Step 6: Enter the captcha code as shown and click on the ‘Register’ button.

Step 7: An OTP will be sent to the entered mobile number. Enter the same and submit to confirm the contact details.

Step 8: Login details will be shown on the screen.

Step 9: Note them down and keep them safe for further reference.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Login’ tab given on the homepage of – www.edudel.nic.in.

Step 2: Enter the login details that were generated after the completion of the registration process. Then click on the ‘Login’ button.

Step 3: Delhi Government School application form 2024 will open on the screen.

Step 4: Fill out the details very carefully ensuring that there are no mistakes in the details entered.

Step 5: Now click on the ‘Next’ button. Select the choice of schools from the list provided there.

Step 6: Upload a scanned copy of the colored photograph and DOB certificate, as per the size and dimensions guidelines.

Step 7: Click on the ‘Preview’ button and check the details entered carefully. Edit it, if any information or details need to be changed or corrected.

Step 8: Finally click on the ‘Submit’ button.

Step 9: An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.

Step 10: Note down the generated application submission code shown on www.edudel.nic.in 2024.

Submitting the Application Form

Step 1: Make sure that the mobile number and email ID are valid and correct.

Step 2: After successfully submitting the filled application form for class 1, parents can check the application status by logging in using their email ID and enrollment ID.

Step 3: Now download the Delhi Government School Application Form 2024 and also take a printout of it for further use.
