Chapter Text

It was a dark windy day and you were standing outside watching Edd climbing up the roof. The reason why he was doing this was because the satellite was out and that Tom and Matt could continue watching their show. You were tasked to watch Edd just to make sure nothing bad happens to him.

"Careful Edd" said (y/n).

"There's nothing to worry about, (y/n). I got this" said Edd.

After finishing his sentence, Edd almost slips off the roof but manages to catch himself in time. You let out a sigh of relief as you watched Edd make his way on top of the roof. Once he got on the roof, he pulls out a tree branch that was stuck in the satellite dish.

"And that's how you solve a problem" said Edd.

"Oh my god, Edd! You did it! You've saved the day!" said (y/n).

"Thank you, thank you, and thank you. I'll be here all week" said Edd.

You and Edd continued to share banter with each other only to be interrupted when a familiar voice rings out.

"HEY! Nice satellite, loser!"

Both you and Edd turned to look at the source of where the voice was coming from as Edd gives off a look of disgust.

"Eduardo...." said Edd.

You let out a small chuckle as the sound of guitar riff plays. You've known of Edd and Eduardo's rivalry ever since you moved into Edd's house. At first you didn't mind it, but you would often get annoyed whenever they would cross paths especially when you're with Edd. Despite all of this, you and Eduardo get along with each other surprisingly well. Admittedly, you have feelings for both of them, but you couldn't choose between them. Eduardo and Edd seem to know this as they would often compete with each other.

Anyway, back to the situation, you stood there in silence as you watched Edd and Eduardo talk about their satellite dishes.

"How many channels you do you get on that thing?" asked Eduardo.

"A thousand exactly! How bout you?" asked Edd.

"A thousand? This baby right here is nuclear powered! We get channels from SPACE!" said Eduardo.

"Uh... that sounds nice, but is it even safe to use?" asked (y/n).

"Oh, hey there (y/n). Why of course it's safe. Say, wanna hang out and see how many channels we got?" asked Eduardo.

"I would love to Eduardo, but I got a show to watch. Maybe next time" said (y/n).

"That's right, Eduardo. They'd rather hang out with me instead" said Edd.

"Yeah right. Just admit it, Edd. I'm better than you!" said Eduardo.

You let out a sigh before heading back inside while Edd and Eduardo argue. Once inside, you go into the kitchen to get something to drink. As you were pouring a cup of (favorite drink), you suddenly hear screaming along with a loud thud. You quickly stop what you were doing and head outside to see Edd laying face down on the ground.

"Oh my god, Edd! TOM! MATT! Get out here quick!" yelled (y/n).

A couple minutes later, you were standing by Edd's side as Tom and Matt stood watch while Matt was making heart monitor sounds. Eventually, Edd wakes up and looks at all three of you as Tom slaps Matt.

"OW!" said Matt.

"You okay, Edd?" asked (y/n).

"Wh... What happened?" asked Edd.

"You fell off the roof..." said Tom.

"We were so worried!" said Matt.

"You know, I don't actually feel too- Wait a minute, where did Tom and Matt go?" asked Edd as he noticed that you were only one in the room with him.

"They went to go back to watching their show. Anyway, how are you feeling?" asked (y/n).

"My head hurts, but at least I'm still alive" said Edd.

"That's good. Do you need anything?" asked (y/n).

"More pillows and a some cans of cola would be wonderful" said Edd.

"Alright then, I'll go get them for you. Just try not to move around too much. I'll be back" said (y/n).

You leave the room to go get pillows and some cola but you're trip get cut short once you heard Edd scream shortly before heading an explosion. You quickly ran back to check on Edd only to find that the room was completely destroyed.

"Edd?" asked (y/n).

"Uh, (y/n)?" asked Edd.

You quickly turn around to see Edd floating behind you which causes both of you to yelp at the same time. In the kitchen, you, Tom, and Matt sat at the table as you watch Edd fly around.

"So, you can fly now?" asked Tom.

"That's not all I can do!" said Edd.

Edd looks at you three as he uses his X-ray vision to see your skeletons.

"Hey! Stop undressing me with your eyes!" said Matt.

You giggle at Matt's reaction as Edd points to Tom's glass of water and heats it up.

"AH! Hot, hot, hot!" yelled Tom.

"Oh sorry!" said Edd before using his icy breath to cool it down along with Tom in the process.

"Woah, that's cool. Literally. So, what else can you do?" asked (y/n).

A montage happens as Edd shows off all of his powers such as super flight, laser eyes, super speed, and he even uses his icy breath to turn the kitchen into an ice rink. You and Matt skate on it as you watch Tom slip and fall face first. After the montage, Edd was seen wearing a superhero costume that he made as you took pictures of him.

"Hmmm, if you're going to be a real superhero, you'll need a cool origin story" said Tom.

"Yeah, that's right" said (y/n).

"So, how did you get superpowers anyway?" asked Matt.

"Well the last thing I remember was a radioactive satellite dish on Eduardo's roof and then I- Wait! If I got superpowers, then.. I should have a cool superhero name!" said Edd.

"Uh Edd? You might want to see this" said (y/n).

Edd looks out the window to see a giant explosion as a figure is seen flying out of it.

"I'm number uno!" said Eduardo.

A couple of minutes later, you were in a car with Tom and Matt while Edd carries you three to the location where Eduardo was at. Upon reaching there, you see Eduardo destroying the city while laughing and before you could say anything, Edd throws the car right at Eduardo. You, Tom, and Matt scream which alerted Eduardo before he gets hit by the car. Luckily all four of you survived thanks to Eduardo's high endurance.

"Hah! Who the loser n- LAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMEEEE!!!" yelled Tom as he gets punched by Eduardo and goes flying up into the sky Team Rocket style.

Eduardo gently lifts the car off of him and sets it down. You and Eduardo share a quick glance at each other before Eduardo flies off to fight Edd. You then get out of the car and looked up to see both Edd and Eduardo duking it out in the sky.

"(y/n), where are you doing?" asked Matt.

"I'm going to stop Edd and Eduardo before they kill each other. I need you to go find Tom" said (y/n).

After leaving Matt behind, you try your best to keep up with Edd and Eduardo as they ended up destroying some buildings in the process. You would take small breaks as you catch your breath before continuing to follow the fight that was taking place above you. Suddenly, you stopped in your tracks once seeing Eduardo punch Edd into a large skyscraper. The impact of Edd colliding into it caused the building to fall. You kept watching until you realized that you were right in the position where the building was falling before making a run for it. Unfortunately, you tripped and end up falling before looking up to see that the falling building was getting closer to you.

You let out a scream which got both Edd and Eduardo's attention before they quickly flew to rescue you. Along the way, they would fight each other on who gets to save you only to end once Eduardo punches Edd out of the sky. Eduardo manages to rescue you just in time before landing in a open field. Eduardo then gently lays you down as you opened your eyes to see him looking down at you.

"Eduardo?" asked (y/n).

"(y/n), are you okay? Did you break anything?" asked Eduardo.

"No, I'm fine. Thank you for saving me" said (y/n).

"You're welcome. What were you doing walking around the city? You could've been seriously hurt or dead" said Eduardo.

"I was trying to stop both you and Edd from fighting each other" said (y/n).

Eduardo gives off a surprised look and before he could say anything, he suddenly gets punched in the face by Edd before colliding against a tree.

"Get your hands off of them!" yelled Edd.

Eduardo slowly gets up as he wipes blood from his nose. "I was just making sure that (y/n) was okay unlike you" said Eduardo.

Edd growls angrily before charging at Eduardo as the two start fighting again. You watched them as a tick mark slowly forms on your head.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" yelled (y/n).

Both Edd and Eduardo stopped as they looked out you.

"I know that this going to sound crazy, but I been having some feelings when it comes to being around you. The same thing can be said about you both. I love you both and I mean that romantically. There I said it" said (y/n).

Edd and Eduardo continue to stare out you which was starting to concern you a little.

"Uh, are you guys going to say something or was this too much to take in?" asked (y/n).

They don't say anything which made you scared. You were about to say something only to hear a loud growl coming from behind you. You turn around to see a giant monster looming over you as it lifts up one of its claws to strike you. You let out a scream as Edd immediately jumps in front of you as the monster hits him. You watched as Edd flies into a nearby fence before falling to the ground.

"EDD!!!" screamed (y/n).

You then look back at the monster who prepares to attack you on,y for Eduardo to stand in front of you as his hair turned neon green while he charging up an attack.

"NO ONE HITS MY NEIGHBORS BUT ME!!!" yelled Eduardo.

You watched as Eduardo fires off a large energy beam right at the monster which causes an explosion. Once the monster was defeated, you quickly run over to Edd and help him get up. Eduardo eventually joins you while losing his superpowers.

"Is everyone okay?" asked Eduardo.

"Yeah, we're fine. Thank you for stopping the monster and saving me" said (y/n).

"Say (y/n), since you confessed that you love us, which one of us are you choosing?" asked Edd.

"It's obvious that they will choose me. I was the one who saved them" said Eduardo.

"Hey! I also helped too. Don't leave me out" said Edd.

"Yeah right. You basically got knocked out by that monster" said Eduardo.

"Actually, I choose both of you" said (y/n).

"What really? You mean it?" asked Edd.

"Yeah, I do. Just promise me that you won't kill each other. I don't like seeing you two fight" said (y/n).

"We promise" said Eduardo.

"Yeah, I can actually work with this. You know, it's a shame that we lost all those powers, but it was fun while it lasted" said Edd.

"Uh Edd, you may want to look down" said (y/n).

Edd looks to see that he was floating in the air before smiling happily as he chants at Eduardo in a mocking way.

"I still have powers! I still have powers! I still powers!" said Edd.

"Edd, stop it. You're making Eduardo mad" said (y/n).

Eduardo lets out a growl shortly before Edd sees a bee as he prepares to fire an energy beam at only for his powers to run out causing him to fall to the ground.
